Beit Al Mamlouka
Beit Al Mamlouka is a traditional 17th century townhouse that has been converted into a small boutique hotel. It is located in the heart of the old city, just a short walk from the Umayyad Mosque and the old souq and 35 minutes drive from the airport. Due to the hotel's location in the old city, it can only be reached on foot and is approximately 5 minutes' walk from the nearest car access point. The hotel has 8 en suite rooms, each reflecting a different period in the hotel's history. Each has a lounge and patio and all range in size, with the largest being the Suleiman Suite. All suites feature large mosaic style marble bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, Internet and mini bar. Due to the hotel's traditional architecture and design, the rooms may have small windows, which are interior facing into the public areas of the property. Work by local artists and hand painted verses of old Arabic poetry can be seen at the hotel's Old Bayke gallery, which was once a traditional stable. The hotel serves breakfast but not lunch and dinner. There are traditional restaurants nearby.

The Talisman
The Talisman is a small boutique hotel situated close to the historical Bab Sharqi, known for its souqs and street markets, in the old town area of Damascus. Due to its location in the old city, the hotel can only be reached on foot and it is approximately 5 minutes' walk from the nearest car access point. The hotel has 16 rooms each with individual layout and decoration. Executive suites are larger, however all rooms have a king size bed, mini bar, central heating, air-conditioning, plasma TV, DVD player and Internet connection. Due to the hotel's traditional architecture and design, the rooms may have small windows, which are interior facing into the public areas of the property. There are 2 central courtyards and an outdoor swimming pool as well as an indoor and outdoor lounge. The hotel serves breakfast but does not cater for lunch and dinner. There are several traditional restaurants nearby.
